Perseus got a dent :(

You know how it is when your gadget's new and you notice every minuscule dust, scratch, or fingerprint on it? Well, my boytoy, Perseus (a.k.a my one-month old Compaq Presario) got a dent :( I don't know how he got it, but it's there. It's not really that noticeable (it's not even a centimeter long) but I can see it every time I pull up the monitor. Boo.

Sorry, Perseus, baby. I'll take better care of you, promise.

  5. im sure kung nakakapagsalita lang yung kotse nya may mga violent protests sya madidinig :)

i came in to the movie thinking i would be getting the book. it was a torture to watch, how are they even going to introduce the character of kronus in the next movie?!!!!

  6. VON...you think there's gonna be a part 2? i felt like they kinda ended the whole thing in the first movie. they even showed the hydra monster already (which i think appeared in book 3 pa?).

and you're right, they didn't even introduce the character of kronos. it actually made the storyline thinner.

  8. i think there will be. the film was a commercial success. and they have already casted the movie anticipating a sequel (they hired a 19 yr old percy, 23 yr old annabeth and 25 yr old grover). they will not have the same problem as harry potter, which they have to finish quickly because harry never grew up in height haha. unfortunately, i dont think we will see thalia and nick introduced in the movie, plus the other interesting gods in the sequels(hunters, ares, apollo, aphrodite, atlas) :(

good news for us is rick riordan is already starting another series of books jumping off from the percy jackson series. that should be really good :) woot woot!

  9. what??? a new percy? the percy in the first movie was a young hottie! haha.

and another what??? no thalia? how can there be no thalia? methinks she's part of a very interesting twist in the plot. and i like the hunters' story. i mean, don't they need zoe nightshade in lieu of atlas's participation in kronos's plan?

really? any news on what riordan's new series will be all about?

  10. nah. what i meant was the cast that they had in the first movie are already 19, 23 and 25. although they all look like they are 12 like the book says :)

for the thalia part, that's just what i think. i cant see how the character of nick and thalia would be necessary in the sequels coz their roles were anchored in the prophecy (child of the big 3 will decide the rise or fall of the olympians), which the movie conviniently ignored :(

as for the new series, the starting point will be the 1st great prophecy of the NEW oracle :) it was in the last part of the last book. riordan has started an entirely new series, btw, this time about the egyptian mythology

  11. whew. i liked the boy who played percy. and annabeth (eventhough she was supposed to be blonde), was pretty and feisty.

oooh...egyptian mythology! something i'm not that too familiar with but am interested in! and if he writes it the way he did the percy jackson series, i've no doubt it'll be another best-seller.

hahaha. geek talk--our little secret :p

  12. just think of it as a battle scar, like the bruise you got jumping off a cliff in puerto, or like the gashes and bruises we always get when we surf. :) it just means perseus is as adventurous as you are. :p
